Privacy Policy
OffTility's tools run entirely in your browser. This page explains, plainly, what that does and doesn't mean for your data — including the parts that aren't fully true yet.
Your files never leave your device
Every tool reads your file in memory, in your browser tab, and writes the result back to you. There is no upload step and no server that ever receives the bytes of your file.
Advertising does make network requests
No ad network is integrated on this site today. Once one is, it will load a script and make requests of its own — separate from, and unable to see, the files you process. This page will be updated the day that happens.
What I collect
I don't run analytics, and I don't collect names, emails, or account details, because there's no account. The only information a normal page load sends is what any web server receives automatically — your IP address and browser details in server logs — and OffTility's own pages are served as static files with no logging added on top.
Files you process
Files you select in a tool are read by JavaScript running in your browser tab. They are processed in memory and, where a tool produces a result, written back to your device through your browser's normal download flow. No tool on this site sends the contents of your file to a server — you can verify this yourself (see the next section).
Verifying this yourself
Open your browser's developer tools, switch to the Network tab, and use any tool with a file you don't mind testing with. You'll see requests for the page's own code and assets, and, once advertising is integrated, requests from the ad network — but nothing carrying your file's contents, because nothing sends it anywhere.
Local storage
Your theme preference (light or dark) and, on a tool page, your last-used settings for that tool are stored in your browser's local storage. This stays on your device, is never transmitted, and can be cleared at any time from your browser's settings.

Each OffTility Android app will link its own policy the same way once it ships.
